Update Hulu App to version 12

How do I update my Hulu app to version 12? I have an Onn/Roku model number 100044717.

    We will be more than happy to assist you in updating your Hulu to the latest version. Please follow these steps:

    1. Select the channel you want to update with the help of the Roku remote.
    2. On the Roku remote, highlight the channel you want to update and press the star button on your Roku remote.
    3. Some options will open up. Select the option “Check for Updates.”
    4. Press the OK button on your Roku remote to update the channel.

I followed the steps you outlined above on my Roku Express.  When I checked the the version of Hulu it was 6.8.  So I checked for updates and when it said it was up to date I looked and it was still version 6.8.  I also tried removing the Hulu App and re-adding it from the streaming store and it was still version 6.8.  I do not currently subscribe to Hulu.  Will the App update automatically if I do subscribe to Hulu?

    reeta, I believe 6.80 is the latest version; that's what I have.  I don't know where the OP got the idea of version 12.

    Whether or not you have a subscription doesn't make any difference.
