Has anyone else had a problem getting this annoying App off of their devices/TVs? I have tried everything and it won't go away! It's like that annoying headache that just won't go away!! I am really frustrated and annoyed!

It looks like you're having trouble removing the Backdrop app on your Roku. To help us look into this further, could you let us know what steps you've already tried to fix the issue?

Yea, i started seeing this app on my Roku Streaming Stick 4K 2022 since a couple weeks ago too.
I have this stick connected to a projector i bought. Typically I use my Jellyfin app to play movies while i go to sleep. the movie finishes, the roku stick closes the app with the data saver i think, then the stick plays the screen saver for a bit before shutting down which in turn would let my projector shutdown.
Except now with this backdrops app, my projector doesn't auto shutdown because this stupid app hijacks it and leaves it on all night.
I've uninstalled it a couple of times and it keeps coming back. Using the same same method that's described in other posts in this forum where you uninstall the app, then restart. Options to disable it from within the app don't seem to exist on the roku stick.
If this can't actually be fixed, i have to switch to another device that actually lets my gear auto power off.
