Unable to log in to Britbox

I've been getting this message on Britbox. I think it's a bug as I've checked all the sign-in stuff and it's all good. We don't have any duplicate accounts. Also if I access the show through a different tile it usually works. I'm trying to upgrade and it gives this. I've restarted the roku, changed the payment method and still it happens. Roku cannot be reached. The help chatbot told me to ask my husband if he had a duplicate account.

    That message often appears when BritBox or Roku has cached an old billing link or account token. Since you’ve confirmed there’s no duplicate Roku account and other tiles work, it’s likely a temporary sync issue between BritBox and Roku billing. Try this:

    Go to Settings > System > System restart (not just power off).

    Then open BritBox → Settings → Sign out, restart again, and sign back in.

    If you still see the error, uninstall BritBox, reboot the Roku, and reinstall the app.

    If the issue persists, it’s best to contact BritBox Support directly — they can clear the old Roku billing association on their end.
