U know how Roku doesnt update software w/ utube so u have to redo login process each time tv turns

Well it miraculous had me already logged in this time!  😱🤩 Practically ... The screen still requires the extra time and step and annoyingness of selecting a user for login, even though i am a single user home.  🙄🙄🙄. I hate this extra step and that u cant just fix it to log in on the same user the way it does on youtube app.  Jerks. And more on that, I believe the larger problem is that YouTube fails to supply patches for older Roku software to adjust to newer YouTube offerings.  Its funny cause every Roku agent reply mentions clearing cookies when they know dang well thats not the reason we have to re-login everytime we open YouTube.  The re-login takes forever because the YouTube app continuously loads with extra server communications and files as if its in inital set up mode.  Then you pass through several slow loading steps.  1st, tap on the YouTube app

2nd wait for the new window to open, loading full color image and sounds, aiming for "get started" button.

3rd wait for the account page to connect to Tv set.  Once thats loaded, wait for the back n forth communication with YouTube servers so a unique QR code will calculate and render.

4th scan that code and then wait for next screen.  After a while 2 more screens will appear with you tapping a bunch of legal things like privacy policy review, etc.  and then u have to select which actual account u are using if there are multiple YouTube accounts, or multiple google accounts under one identity.  These screens are on your phone, and then u return to a newly loaded screen on Tv set for the final selection.  And then u wait for that to load and u are in.

Well, today, that magically happened without the QR code or other legal windows to check through, so something is officially different 😅👌
