U App returns to the home screen

Seems like I'm behind the times, regarding this problem, however just thought I would add to it. Other half bought me the Roku stick, so she can watch her stuff and I can escape!😉. Anyway its happening to me too. Tried all the recommended solutions and nothing changes. The rest work fine just the U one that fails. Removed..added. loads up to 9%, then shoots to 100% then screen blanks out and we go back to home page!. Any further updates or solutions would be appreciated folks.
