Trouble moving from roku on hdmi2 to hdmi2

Cannot successfully move from hdmi2 to hdmi1.  I have to physically disconnect the roku device and restart my TV to view my normal cable channels.  If I do not, even though I have changed my source successfully, the tv flips back to hdmi2 and roku

  How do I prevent this annoyance?

    You can try disabling Roku's CEC feature called 1-touch play.  (This feature allows user to quickly turn on TV and switch to the Roku device HDMI input with any button press of the Roku remote, other than the volume and power button.  

    This feature conflicts with some cable remotes.

    Settings/System/Control other Devices/1-touch play [uncheck to Disable].
