The MLB App on Roku asked to watch St. Louis games on FanDuel Sports Network.
I have the MLB app on Roku and a subscription to MLB TV, allowing me to watch out-of-network games on the app. I live in Chicago and primarily watch games in St. Louis. Been doing this for the last two years with no issues. All of a sudden, in the last couple of weeks, the MLB app on Roku says that I have to watch St. Louis games on FanDuel Sports Network instead. It does that for every St. Louis game now. However, I’m able to watch these games on the MLB app with other devices like my laptop or iPhone. It is only the Roku app that won’t let me watch the games. I can’t find any information online about this, as I was wondering if there is some sort of MLB agreement that is redirecting me to FanDuel, but why would that only be on the Roku and not every other device? I did not change anything with my internet provider, and my IP address on my Roku would not have changed. Any help or ideas would be appreciated!
Hi, hjhipp
Thanks for the post.
I understand that you've encountered issues with streaming MLB games through cable providers.
It's best to continue working with the MLB app for further assistance, since contents are directly managed by their respective providers.
Thanks,
