Streaming Newsmax Channel on Roku

I have Roku Express 4K+ installed on my two TV's.  Recently am having problems with the Newsmax streaming.  For example, I can access it in the morning but when I try to access it in the late afternoon/evening it doesn't work.  All I get is a screen to view previous hosts.  This is very annoying.  I've reinstalled the Newsmax channel, unplugged the connections, went from Roku to TV and back again but still no streaming.  My cable company won't carry Newsmax so I have to rely on Roku to watch it.  Is this a Roku problem or Newsmax?  All my other channels work with no problem.

  • Our roku 4k stick and our roku tvs kick out to the main menu every few minutes during Sebastián Gorka's show on Sunday evening.

    This has gone on for months.

      Does the issue only occur on Newsmax or across other channels installed on your Roku device?

      Have you tried removing the affected channel Newsmax and then re-install again? If not, we suggest starting there. In some cases, removing the affected channel and then re-installing it may help. Restart your device before re-adding the channel back in to ensure the process is successful. We recommend doing this through the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If there is no Power submenu, proceed to the next step.) > System restart.

  • Roku keeps kicking Newsmax out, and I have to restart anybody else having this problem

      Yes, same problem. Has happened half a dozen times already.

        Have you tried the suggestion posted by Anonymous above? If not, we recommend giving it a shot. Please let us know as well if you are experiencing the issue on multiple channels or only on Newsmax.
