Hello Dan52669
Thanks for posting here in the Community.
Can you please clarify the issue you are experiencing? What title were you watching? What channel were you watching content on?
With more detailed information, we will be able to look further into this issue.
Regards,
Karla

It’s on all channels. Just stop it. This is America and we speak English.

100% agree with you. I wound up removing all my home page ads because all of them became Spanish.
Current rate I wind up hitting mute since there's no bypassing commercials.

What can we do to get rid of the commercials in Spanish, other than boycotting all the businesses that run them? If I want to see commercials in Spanish, I will go to Mexico.

BK2NC this has nothing to do with racism.
It is just an option that customers don't want to see while using the service.

On commercial TV, advertisers are the customers. The customers probably don’t enjoy the idea that some of their ads are getting to people who can’t understand them, but that happens with advertising and that’s really their issue to deal with. Of course, the customers always want the most bang for the buck, so, you might try contacting them to see if they know how badly targeted their ads are, in your case.

Agreed. Nothing pisses me off more than the spanish commercials on American tv. Besides the pro democrap propaganda commercials and the increasing amount of commercials being played.

I disagree. The title of your post makes it a point to say, "...in the usa!" Specificity and emphasis. This seems to imply that Americans (more accurately, United Statesians) don't speak Spanish; however, Spanish is the 2nd most widely spoken language in North America and specifically for the U.S.A. If advertisers know this, it makes sense that they would cast the net wide. It's fine to be annoyed by it. It's not fine to be xenophobic. Do better.

Then go to a country where it is the first language if that is what you want. English is the standard in America.

The problem is there was a way to block ads on the homepage but it got disabled. Spanish ads are a mild annoyance, but I don't needs ads for The Boogeyman and other horror films for my kid to see.

Why has no one answered this question? I selected English as my language and yet you still show commercials in Spanish. Please fix this issue. All channels do this.
- Dan526692 years agoChannel Surfer
They didnt answer it when I asked either.
I had to switch to another service.
Those spanish commercials were way too annoying.
I guess its go woke go broke Roku.

All apps play random Spanish language ads. It must be the advertising agency you use. Ask them to stop.

There's a demographic reality that some people are overlooking. Of all the countries in the world, the United States has the second largest population of Spanish speakers. Only Mexico has more Spanish speakers than the U.S.
What you're complaining about is just free-market capitalism. There's a large identifiable population out there and companies want to sell products to them.
