Static audio through headphones plugged into phone

When I use my android phone with headphones to listen to audio of tv shows, Most of the time I hear a slight background of static.  My android has totally clean sound on anything else I listen to through my Samsung S8+.  When listening through the tv speakers everything is clean sounding. I own the Roku Express 4K plus. Thank you in advance.

    We'd like to gather more information about the issue you're running into. Does the issue only occur on a specific channel or all channels on your Roku device? Have you tried using another mobile device if it happens as well?
