Spotify not working

When I opened up my spotify it shows a white screen with the words "Server returned HTIP status 401" in the top left corner. I checked for any updates on the app and then removed it. I readded it and updated the system also restarting the roku. Still is showing the white screen. Please help!

  • Spotify and other websites were having network issues today.  It was not a Roku Specific problem.  

  • Hi, I have the same problem here on my tTV. I checked on my laptop to see, and the same thing. Although it's a black screen, I checked on my phone, and it only lets me hear music, but not view my playlists. I would try and contact spotify to see what potencially went wrong.
