Hi there,
When channels (apps) disappear or stop working right after a Roku system update, it’s usually due to one of two things:
- Compatibility / Support Changes – Sometimes Roku OS updates remove support for apps that aren’t updated by their developers to meet new requirements. If the app publisher hasn’t released an update, Roku may temporarily or permanently pull it.
- Channel Store Removal – Certain apps (like Live Now Fox) may be removed from the Roku Channel Store due to licensing, regional restrictions, or publisher decisions. Once removed, they won’t appear or update on your device.
What you can try:
- Go to Settings > System > System update > Check now just in case a patch has already been pushed.
- Search the Roku Channel Store to see if those apps are still listed—if not, it means they’ve been pulled or disabled by the publisher.
- If they still show in the Channel Store but won’t open, try removing/re-adding them.
- You can also check the publisher’s website (Truth+, RAV, Fox, etc.) to see if they’ve made announcements about Roku support.
Unfortunately, if the apps were officially removed, the only workaround would be to access them through other devices (Fire TV, Apple TV, or directly through a smart TV browser).
