Sling has taken over ROKU

I started have trouble a week and a half ago. Have never used Sling. I only use YOUTUBE. I have reset my router. I have removed Sling TV as a "channel". Removed the button from the remote.  Now when I try to advance through a video in YOUTUBE. Banner along the bottom of screen asks to EXIT YOUTUBE. I have to wait until it blinks two times...then I can move along in the video.  I have changed my ROKU THEME. It only got worse. Now I try to go to YOUTUBE and  I cant start a video. Now,  it automatically asks me to add SLING as a channel. Freezes everything and I have to unplug the ROKU. Then it reset, and does the same thing again. I have a ROKY Express.

    It appears the Sling TV button on your remote is stuck somehow. Might be something embedded in the button area, so look it over closely. You could also remote the batteries from your remote and try using the Roku app to control the device and see if the problem is gone (I expect it would be). If so, you might need to replace the remote if you can't get the button cleared.
