If there's an issue with the app, then the app developer would be the ones to handle that. Roku doesn't build the apps, just like Apple, Google, and Amazon don't build the apps that run on their platforms. Sling (owned by Dish Network) built the app.
But, it's probably not the app. It might be, but if the app in and of itself was the issue, a lot of the 2.5 million Sling TV users would be experiencing this. To be sure, not all 2.5 million are Roku users, but Roku is the largest platform, so the number would not be a small one.
So, it's probably something going wonky with your app. Whether it's some stray data, or something else, we should start there.
- Remove the app
- Reboot the Roku
- Reinstall the app
All three steps, and in that exact order. Then, log in, see if it's working. Don't launch other apps, focus on this one for now. Is it working?

I contacted Sling and they are looking into it. It’s just the Sling app on Roku devices. I have unplugged, reset, uninstalled/reinstalled, and done other troubleshooting in a variety of different configurations, and still no dice.

I have done the same as well. Just have to wait and see for resolution.

I can confirm the same problem (1336 on 2/24/22), but it's unique to Roku Sling Cloud DVR programs. I can access cloud dvr fine via TV's sling app. I too removed, reinstalled and logged out/in to my ROKU sling app and no joy. I can also access OTA recordings (AIRTV) on ROKU sling app, just not cloud.

I have the same issue. Some content works and the others show no data available. It worked last night but not today. Please resolve this. This is the second time this has happened. Are the updates tested before going live?

I have the same DVR problem with my all my Roku's. The DVR recordings do work on my Android phone, Samsung TV and PC app.

This solution does not work. I am having the same issue. My recordings are fine on all Non-Roku devices. This must be a Roku issue.

Just tried to play back Sling DVR on Amazon Fire Stick. DVR will not playback from that streaming device, either. (does play back on computer)

Live chat from Sling has replied to me. Says the following:
" Our engineering team is aware on this issue and they are working to get this fixed. "

Phone # for Sling Support:
"You can also call our customer service by phone 1.888.363.1777, they are available at 9:30 AM EST until 12 AM ET. "

Saw a few replies to my post. I have already contacted Sling Customer Service, they verified it is on the Roku end. I have gone through all of the steps, as other users have to no avail. As the DVR works on other devices, it can't be on Sling's end, it has to be an issue with Roku. I hope Roku gets this figured out soon.

Sling TV has announced a fix, it had nothing to do with Roku.

Absolutely correct, John-Y128, it had nothing to do with Roku.
I spoke with Sling on their chat earlier today about this issue. The agent knew about a Sling TV app release v8.17.0.1884 (released on 02/02/2022), but nothing about a v8.19 which was released sometime between then and around 02/23/2022 and is the version installed on my Roku Ultra.
To quote Strother Martin in Cool Hand Luke: "What we've got here is failure to communicate!"

I also have "No data available" on my Sling DVR, both hosted and AirTV OTA on each of 2 Roku ultras. Android clients work fine.
