Since upgrading Roku device, HGTV go is locked...

    Greetings from the Roku Community!

    We'd be happy to be of assistance here and determine the cause of why the HGTV GO app on your Roku device is currently locked. 

    Before proceeding, could you please let us know what is your current software version? Also, are there any error messages prompted? In the meantime, kindly follow the steps provided below to help you troubleshoot this app:

    1. Remove the channel: navigate to your Home screen, move to the right, highlight the app, press Star*, then select Remove channel
    2. Perform a system reboot: navigate to your Home, select Settings > System > Power (skip if unavailable) > System restart
    3. Re-install the channel: navigate to your Home, scroll and select Store, look for the app, then press Add channel

      We saw this question and your answer so we tried it since ours is locked also....

      Well it did not unlock anything....another suggestion please

        Have you authenticated it with your TV provider?  (ie: where the app gives you a link, and you go there and select your TV provider/cable TV company and then log in with them?)
