Roku Wont stream Everytime i click play it goes out completely

My Roku has been acting funny. Everytime I turn it on. I select an app. Choose what I want to watch. As soon as I click play. Roku goes out. It won't register to my TV. As it's plugged in. And won't ...

Did this happen after an update? Can you check the latest software version of the Roku (under Settings > System > About)? Also, is this happening on all apps or only on a specific app?
