Roku wont click on any app except advertisement

Hi all, I’ve tried literally everything and I have no idea what to do anymore except this. I have a Roku streaming stick and every time I plug it into a TV it will go across an app but when I try to click on it, it goes straight to the advertisement on the right and only lets me click on that on the home page. I’ve checked EVERYTHING and nothing works. System update, restart, wifi connection, batteries in remote, EVERYTHING. Please help. I’m not sure what to do about it.

    We see that you are having trouble clicking on any apps on your Roku Streaming Stick, and we'd like to help.

    Did this happen before or after a recent software update? In the meantime, can you try the Roku Mobile App and see if you can click on any apps from there?'
