Roku Ultra now requires selecting play after pressing fast forward or 10 second advance

Why does Roku Ultra now require selecting “play” after selecting 10 Second jump or rewind or even fast forwarding?

Previously it would just auto play after these selections

    That's always been the default behavior.  Any app that performed differently is doing its own thing and the developer must have made a change.
