Unplugged. Will see if cools down. Never happen before !!!!

Take the rubber pad off the bottom of the ROKU, it retains heat and should fix your issue like it did mine.
You can also set it on top of a wire rack coaster that will let air flow underneath it.
I tried using gel packs too, but it cause condensation and you have to change it out all the time.

Please tell us the following:
- Model of your Roku Ultra
- When did this issue start?
- Are you getting a warning message on your TV screen? If so, please take a photo of the TV screen showing the error. How do I insert an image in a post?
In the meantime, please unplug your Roku device from your TV to cool it down.
