Model 4660x, ID 52-054-498 youtube tv app will not open. It has been updated as well as the system has been updated and it still won’t open. Roku device was disconnected from power and reconnected and still won’t open. Youtubetv apl was removed and reinstalled and also did not resolve issue.

Re-install the channel: Go to Search, type “YouTube TV,” highlight the channel, and select Add Channel. Please go ahead and follow the troubleshooting steps. I can’t launch youtube tv . I restart system deleted app and added it again and still the same. The rest of the apps are working fine. Help please

  When you removed it and added it, if you didn't restart your Roku device after you removed it and before you reinstalled it, try again. Remove both Youtube TV and Youtube apps (if you have both), perform a "System restart" from Settings->System or Settings->System->Power (as appropriate) and add the app again.

Despite trying solutions from a recent thread concerning inability to launch YouTube TV, I am unable to launch this app. I can launch other apps no problem. What is another solution?

I'm having the issue too. I noticed it was a problem a week ago and I followed the steps, with no luck:

We believe this issue may be resolved.,
If you still have the app tile on your home screen, select it and press the * button on your remote. Choose the option to update the channel.
If that doesn't work, check for a system update: Home > Settings > System > Software Update > Check Now.
You might need to re-install the app from the Channel Store after updating your system.
In some cases, restarting your device might help: Home > Settings > System > Power > Restart.

I am having the exact same issue on the identical hardware. Everything is all up to date. I did a factory reset and reinstalled everything and then it magically started working again. However, when I then re-logged into all of the other apps it stopped working again. So maybe it is a memory issue. Going to buy a uSD card to try and see if that fixes it

  The same thing is happening to me. I am a techie and I performed all of the suggested fixes and still nothing works for YouTube TV, but all of the other ones work

  Don't waste your time with the card, I have one installed on mine and it takes about 20 minutes to reformat but it never serves its purpose which is supposed to load your programs faster. I'm having the same problem now and if I miss the super bowl I'm going to be really pissed
