Apple TV comes straight on and we want to go to home and watch other channels. It won’t let us change from Apple TV and we don’t have a subscription. I’ve changed the batteries in the remote twice. Why is it bypassing the Home Screen and going straight to Apple?

Before we proceed, could you please let us know if you are experiencing the issue of the Apple TV shortcut button being stuck on your physical remote?
Also, kindly provide us with the serial number of the Roku device to which this remote is currently paired.
