Roku streaming stick- Unable to play Amazon Prime Video

The stick-TV had been working fine but recently Amazon Prime Video app fails to connect.  I have removed the app and reinstalled with the same problem.  I am able to connect via other apps including youtube, hulu, etc.  Turning on/off the TV with Roku stick attached doesn't resolve the issue.  I had been a prime Amazon member.

    When you remove an app, make sure you perform a System restart found under Settings->System or Settings->System->Power (depending on your device) before installing the app again.
