A warm welcome here in the Roku Community, RoseM.

Thanks for raising your concern with us. Worry no more, as we would be more than willing to find you the best resolution possible.

As we checked your account, a Roku Express 4K is linked. Is this the specific device you are having this issue with? In addition, may we know what troubleshooting steps you have taken to try and resolve the issue you have been experiencing? So we can provide you with additional possible steps. Also, how long have you been facing this?

In the meantime, we suggest trying to check for available software updates by navigating to your Home screen. Scroll up or down to select Settings > System > System updates > Check Now. After doing so, kindly let us know what is your current OS version under Settings > System >  About.

    We'll be anticipating your response!

    Thanks,
    Carly

      RoseM-

If your Roku has a "Settings > System > Power > Auto power savings > After 20 minutes of no interaction" setting, try disabling it.

I too have this problem. I turn on the TV with the ROKU remote. No signal (but there really is) so therefore there is nothing on the screen.  I reset the "stick" and Roku fires up and I can watch TV.  But incur the same process the next time I want to watch TV.  Any advice?

    Hi, coxmo

Thanks for keeping us posted here in the Roku Community.

We appreciate you for clarifying the issue you've encountered with your Roku streaming device. Have you tried connecting your Roku Streaming Stick to another HMDI port at the back of your TV? Also, how are you powering your device, is it through a power strip or directly to a power outlet?

Please keep us posted, and we'll assist further.

    All the best,
    Kash

The Length of the stick will not fit in the space for the extra HDMI slot due to TV design.  The TV is being powered through power strip ...that has not changed in 2 years. Other items are powered there as well..no issues.

        coxmo,

        Thanks for the update!

To see more on what's going on here, have you made any changes recently that might be related to this behavior? We would also recommend having an HDMI extender to see if that helps.
