Roku research survey

I got an email from Roku Research to do a survey which would pay $5 via PayPal. At the end of the survey it gave me nothing but a thank you and didn’t redirect me or give me any option to enter my PayPal information. Is this legit ?  Or was it a scam? 
I cannot contact or email the address back but wondering if I will ever receive the PayPal or was it a phishing scheme or something I should be worried about.
