Roku not showing video but closed caption shows and title and volume works

Unfortunately that doesn't answer the question to the problem we have, I have the same problem, it shows the home screen, and when I go into a channel (such as FreeVee or True Crime) I can see all the movies listed, but when I click on a movie to watch, the screen is black, but I can hear sound and see CC and if I FF or Rev, I can see the little picture in a picture of the scene I am FF or Rev too.
