Thanks for chiming in, and welcome to the Roku Community, QR15!

We understand you're not seeing anything on your Roku screen about doing the suggested steps above, but here are a few things we can check.

        1. Have you tried checking if your Roku device was set to the correct input? If not, see which input you have the Roku player connected to; the video connector will be labeled with the input name, e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AUX, VIDEO IN 1, etc. The way you change inputs can differ based on the TV brand and model, but it is usually accessible from a button on the remote control. If you can, check the instructions that came with your television, or try the following:
          • Look for a button on your TV remote control that says Input, Source, AUX, Video, TV/Video, or something similar. Press this button. Depending on your TV, pressing the button may cycle through available inputs or display a menu with a choice of inputs.
          • If it cycles through the inputs - wait 10 seconds between button presses to allow the TV to detect the video.
          • If a menu is displayed - use the arrow buttons on the TV remote to choose the correct input and press Enter or Select. Alternatively, select each input one at a time. Wait 10 seconds between each to allow the TV to detect the video.
          • In both cases, if no video is detected on the input, the TV will usually show a message such as “No video” or “No signal detected.”
        2. Power cycle your Roku device. Unplug your Roku device for several seconds, then plug it back in to see if the video will appear.

If the picture finally appears, you may do the suggested steps above and let us know if the issue is resolved.

Let us know if this works.

        Thanks,
        Emman

        Hi Jackie65,

        Welcome to the Roku Community!

We appreciate you trying the troubleshooting suggested above to fix your Roku device issue with no picture and sound. We would like to take a closer look into this matter.

We would like to know the following:

        • Your Roku device/TV model.
        • When did this issue start?
        • Does it happen from any channels and content you played?

In the meantime, we recommend you try the following:

        1. Check the internet connection
          > Seelect Settings > Select Network > Select Check connection
        2. Restart your router and modem
        3. Setup connection

Please let us know if the issue persists.

        Cheers,
        Riamie
