Roku keeps getting worse, fellow users ever find a actual fix?

I've given up on Netflix on my Roku, started using my fire stick. YouTube started crashing and now Disney plus.

Been reading a lot of posts here and the community moderators template responses. Like check for latest updates? It updates every night.

Clear the cache, maybe for a one day fix.

Netflix keeps crashing, mods move the blame to Netflix rather than owning up to it.

What's your Roku model, people keep posting it and still nothing

Does anyone have any actual fixes? Like can the Roku be formatted and put a diff os on it? Really frustrating!

Welcome to the Roku Community, Darkcola!

Thanks for sharing your sentiments here. We'd be happy to provide further information regarding this matter.

If you have already followed all the possible troubleshooting steps suggested by other Roku moderators here and the issue persists, we highly recommend directly raising your concern to the channel provider, as they are responsible for issues happening inside their app.

Please be advised that the majority of content on the Roku platform comes from streaming channels maintained and updated independently by the channel's provider

In some cases, this may also be related to your network connection's signal strength. Ensure your Wi-Fi connection is stable and performing well. Sometimes, even with fiber optics, fluctuations in speed or signal strength can cause delays.

I hope you find this information helpful.

    Best regards,
    Carly

Blaming the channels is something companies always do. They always blame the other company, and that company always blames them. And the truth is, this is Roku's fault. All of it. Every single problem occurring today with any channel is because Roku does not enforce any rules in regard to how the channels are programmed. As a result, Disney and all the others that have problems are allowed to program their channels anyway they want, and because of that, it gets worse and worse as time goes on. So this is Roku's fault for being cowards and not demanding that these channels like Disney and the like program their channel so that they work properly. So far, the only channel that I've seen that works great is Netflix. Now if every other station programmed their channels the same exact way, it would be perfect and there would be no problems, so until Roku gets off their ass and starts doing something about this bull**bleep**, it's never going to be fixed and it's continually going to get worse, and they won't do a **bleep** thing until millions and millions of people stop using Roku boxes because of their problems. Only then will they lift a **bleep** finger and do something about it, when it affects their bottom line, and it's pathetic because in the meantime we have to deal with this **bleep** and more and more problems. So Roku, stop blaming the channels. This is your fault for not demanding uniformity in how these channels are programmed.
