Hi Pennydog
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.
Does the issue only occur on Hulu or across other channels installed on your Roku device?
If you haven't tried yet, you can remove the affected channel and then re-install it. To ensure the process is successful, make sure to restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.
For detailed instructions, refer to this Support link: How do I resolve channel playback issues?
Let us know if there's any difference after.
All the best,
Kariza
I'm using the Roku app on a Samsung TV and the constant freezing everytime I stream a program on the app is very annoying!!

Buy a Roku. Apps integrated into TVs suck.

RokuArjiemar I'm experiencing these freezes (at every commercial break), and constant buffering, while watching via my computer, not on a TV. Why is this so difficult to have work well? It's definitely not my computer, as no issues with any other streaming, and I have a very fast WiFi connection. So why is this ongoing dysfunction happening?

Get a faster computer.
