My Roku express 4 has worked fine all day, we turned are tv off to run an errand, came back to a blinking blue light and no picture. I did a restart and I could hear the restart music, still no picture. I tried different hdmi cables/ports …still nothing.
I took it over to my daughter’s room and hooked it to her tv and it loaded up just fine.
please help.
There's no such player as an Express 4. There is a Roku 4 model 4400 and numerous versions of the Roku Express. We need to know your specific model number before we can offer any sort of support.
But I will say that if it works fine on a different TV, then there's nothing wrong with the Roku. The problem is with the TV.

it’ll load up and the blue will stay on for few and then just starts blinking.
if it’s the TV, is it the HDMI ports on the back? Do I have to use HDMI to hook up my Roku?
OK, that is a very good player. Yes, it has to be connected via HDMI. You could certainly use an HDMI-Analog converter, but then you lose the HD image.
