We've noticed that you're encountering Error code 022 on your Roku Streaming device. This error generally indicates an issue with the wireless network connection. To resolve this, we recommend troubleshooting the wireless network settings on your device.

    Try out the following steps:

    • Restart your Roku device. To restart your device, you can either unplug the power cable, wait a moment, and then reconnect it, or follow the steps below to restart your device from the Settings menu.
    • Restart your router. Refer to the steps below for instructions on restarting your modem or router.
•Unplug both your modem and router from power
•Wait 10 seconds and then plug them back in
•Wait for your modem and router to fully restart
•Use a phone, tablet, or computer to confirm the internet connection is working.

Tip: You can connect your streaming device to a mobile hotspot as a temporary workaround to make sure there is not an issue with your device.

    Hope this helps!

    Best regards,

      Hi ebass,

Thanks for getting in touch here and reporting this issue on your device.

Could you tell us more about this? How are you powering this device? Is it connected to the USB port on your TV or to a wall outlet? What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far in trying to resolve this, and what did not work?

With a better understanding, we'll be able to provide further assistance.

      Keep us posted!

      Regards,

      Rey

  • I have the same issue.  Worked fine for over a year.. now get the subject error code. Have followed instructions that come up and are posted on this site - "unplug/replug TV and Roku stick" several times and I do it in the order written.  Only one HDMI slot on a JVC TV for which the manual states is HDCP compliant.   Any help at all?  Or  do I have to buy a new stick since I haven't seen any resolution ..
