<SOLVED> I have solved the situation myself, so am self-marking this as Solved <SOLVED>
Let me state this clearly, as much of the advice provided on this Forum is not actually correct. For anyone (certainly in the UK), that has created a Paramount+ account directly on the Paramount+ UK site, you can use those log-in credentials on the Roku Streaming Stick Paramount+ App.
- The problem in my case was that I had a complex password with mixed case letters, numbers and symbols.
- This resulted in the P+ Roku App not accepting the credentials and providing the "ERROR - Unable to verify your account. Please check your information and try again." message:
- The solution in my case was to request a password reset from your Paramount+ account via the Web and use a simpler password preferably without any of the following symbols: '^', '@', '&'. This worked for me and I managed to log in immediately onto the Roku App after changing the password and removing these symbols.
- If you use a Password Manager like Bitwarden, you can choose not to use these types of symbols in the password generator.
I hope this helps others, as I've wasted days on this and although in this day and age we're encouraged (rightly so) to use unique and complex passwords, there are still some applications that won't fully work with certain symbols.

Hey TheMav,
It seems you have been confused about the Paramount Plus subscriptions: I just wanted to drop the difference between the channel itself.
Paramount Plus is a stand-alone app that you can access if you subscribe directly to the channel provider.Paramount Plus on the Roku channel- Which cannot be accessed using an existing account but needs a separate subscription through Roku Pay.
If you manage your subscriptions through Roku, please log in with your Roku account. If you have trouble accessing your Paramount+ subscription in the standalone app, contact the channel provider for help. You can do this by clicking this link.
I hope this helps!

No, this DOES NOT work....
I signed up via Paramount+ UK Website to a premium plan, filled in all required details and had acknowledgement of this, yet on 2 separate Roku 4K streaming sticks with the Paramount+ App freshly installed (we have never used P+ before) from the Roku Channel, we are stuck in a constant 7 day free trial / login loop - on 2 separate devices on 2 TVs. Credentials checked multiple times. Useless, so now cancelled subscription as little use like this - and this place is full of the same issues ridiculously stating issue solved! It is NOT.- RokuTakashiCommunity Moderator
Hi, TheMav
Thanks for reaching out.
I understand your concern with the Paramount+ subscription access, and I'm here to help.
Be advised that if you have subscribed to Paramount+ directly, you can only access this type of subscription with the stand-alone Paramount+ app. This subscription cannot be used to access Paramount+ through the Roku Channel.
To log in to your Paramount+ app, use the credentials you've signed up with the provider.
Hope this clarifies your concern.
Thanks,

What stand alone App? By this unqualified statement, I am assuming you are referring to a possible App available on a Smart TV? That being the case, why would I be using a Roku Streaming Stick if my Smart TV had a Paramount+ App? Most people I know use a Streaming Device because their 'Smart TV' has become 'dumb' in that it has no longer been updated via software / firmware a few years after purchase rendering most Apps unusable today. Mine didn't even have a Paramount+ App.
If you are referring to a Smart Phone App, then that's irrelevant as I wouldn't be posting on a Roku Forum about an IOS or Android App.
This is a totally ridiculous situation to be honest and although this may not be the fault of Roku, the sheer number of similar issues other users are having tells you that the information is seriously lacking about this for potential subscribers.
This happens nowhere else I can think of - if I have a Netflix account, I sign up on the Netflix website and can then sign in with the same credentials on any other platform, whether that be a Smart TV, a Streaming device, Smart Phone or a PC!
Nowhere has the issue that you 'cannot sign up on the Paramount+ website and use those credentials to log in on the Roku Paramount+ App' been published that I can find - either on the Roku App or the Paramount+ Website. The very least Roku could do is make this clear on the actual Roku Paramount+ App channel page, so that people are not stressing out unnecessarily and going crazy over log in issues when it will never work!
Surely this is not rocket science and would stop other users going mad over this issue? Please forward this on to the relevant 2 year olds concerned.
PS, I do thank you for clarifying the reason why this does not work - at least I have the reason - but please do ensure that they reference this on the Roku Channel App.....

If you subscribed to Paramount+ through your TV account, your subscription may only be with the TV's manufacturer rather than Paramount+ and it may only be accessible from TVs linked to that same TV account.
If you subscribed directly with Paramount+ on its website, you should be able to log into the dedicated Paramount+ app available on any other device for which one is available, using the email and password from the direct Paramount+ registration.

Hello Mr Community Streaming Expert. You obviously did not read my post - which part of my post mentioned a "TV Account"?:

I am talking about the Roku Paramount+ Channel on Roku Streaming Sticks. Again why would I be writing about the issue of a TV App on a Roku Support Website?
The question has seemingly now been answered by 'RokuTakashi' so your second paragraph is incorrect!
Yes, I did subscribe via Paramount+'s website, and NO, you cannot sign in using those same details on a Roku Streaming Stick under the Paramount+ Channel! That was the point of my question. I suggest you retract that, as this only leads to more confusion by other readers and is clearly not the case as demonstrated by my own experiences on separate Roku devices -

I think it's worth mentioning that the sentence referring to "TV Account" begins with "If". And it wasn't at all an unreasonable "If" given the first sentence of your first post. But IF that sentence doesn't apply, then check out his next IF clause.
