Roku Channel Playback Error message on my firestick

I can’t play any movies or tv shows from the Roku Channel App on my firestick, It keeps giving me the playback error message. But I have a Samsung Smart Tv in my bedroom and it works perfectly fine on there.

I've check my firestick software and it is updated already and so is the app. I’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, and it still doesn’t work. I’ve tried everything and was wondering if there was a fix for this?.

    Could you tell us...

    • When did you first notice this issue?
    • Were there any app updates before this happened?
    • A photo could also be very helpful to examine more closely.

    In the meantime, can you try connecting your Firestick to a different internet, such as a mobile hotspot, and see if there are any differences?
