The Amazon Roku app doesn't work this way anymore. Pushing down arrow shows the other episodes.

Greetings from the Roku Community!
Regarding your issue about the Amazon Originals content on the Prime Video channel that plays Spanish, you should be able to change the language during the playback by bringing up the app controls and changing it.
If it does not work, we suggest contacting the Prime Video channel provider directly, as we do not develop or control the app or its content.

FYI... I was able to resolve the issue... In a manner of speaking.
I had reset the Roku to factory defaults and then rebuild it. Simply removing and re-adding the Prime Video app was not enough.
The Amazon Originals now play in English.
