Roku 4 won’t play HBO max nor Paramount

I recently got my Roku 4 (premiere?) out and was gonna try it out in another room. I went thru an updated all the channels and then updated the system itself. But when I tried HBO max and Paramount+, both came up and said I needed to update the system and try again. So far, those are the only 2 I have found doing that.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or can anyone recommend something else for me to try?

    If it's really a Roku 4 (model number 4400), it's no longer receiving updates and can't run those apps any longer.  You can view the model number under Settings->System->About.
