Roksbox channel questions

i just bought roksbox xstream and want to use it with my usb drive for my music and some movies. But it does not do much more the the roku media streamer. it does not read the music tags or art. there is almost no setup, nothing like the web page lists.

Also can not register on the roksbox site to get help, keep getting error msg. starting to think it is a dead channel that roku is charging for. also there are 2 different roksbox channels - roksbox xstream for 4.99 and roksbox plug n play for 3.99? what is the diff. or should i have gotten the roksbox plug n play?
