Roku allows various news apps including Fox News. Can we get Roku to provide MSNBC also. I like to have news which is not available on Fox. There are specific commentators I like for their insight on issues and guests who provide essential perspectives.
The NBC News app provides both NBC NEWS NOW and MSNBC.
NBC NEWS NOW is a free streaming service. But MSNBC is a cable channel so you can only view it in the app if you have a cable or satellite provider.
If you don't mind listening to MSNBC, rather than viewing it, there are various free channels/apps that carry their streams like Audacy, iheartRadio, and MyTuner available for Roku.
If you need to watch it, then you will need a TV provider as mentioned by denhow or use a cable-alternative provider like Hulu, Sling or Youtube TV that includes MSNBC in their package.
Was considering to add TuneIn to the above list, but their MSNBC stream has been down for the last few weeks for their Roku app with an error message. (although it does work on their website so can be screen mirrored/cast).
