- Is the Roku TV linked to the same Roku account as the 3820 sticks (i.e. same email address shown on all units via Settings/System/About)?
- Using a scrolling Roku screenaver and pressing Play/Pause key to exit screensaver?

Thank you for responding. All devices are registered under one email and on the same network. This started happening when I hooked up that cheap Roku TV a few weeks ago and the new screen saver app was forced upon me. Didn't quite understand your second question. Appreciate any tips you have. Thanks

The City Scroll screensaver has embedded ads that if you press the OK button while they're visible will open that specific channel, and install it if it's not already there. But since you've mentioned it was a screensaver app that you removed, I wouldn't expect a screensaver to be advertised on another screensaver. π
One thing to remember is that all Roku devices linked to the same network will have the same apps installed. If they are installed on one device they appear on all of them. When you uninstall an app, every device needs to be rebooted (that doesn't mean simply turning them off, unplug the power or use the restart in the System menu) to ensure they are completely removed from all devices. It sounds like one of the devices is reinstalling the app before it received the removal command.
