Problems watching the World Cup via Fox on Live TV

We subscribed to Sling to watch the World Cup. Sling offers FS1 only, not FOX. Problem is that half the matches are shown on FOX live and replayed later on Sling. So we downloaded our local FOX channel app but all that shows is local news (even though the local listings say that our local FOX Channel was supposed to be showing the USA Game at 6pm PST tonight). We basically cannot figure out how to access the live games shown on FOX via our Roku TV.

    The only way to receive Fox network live programming for free is by receiving your local Fox channel via an over-the-air antenna connected to the antenna jack on your tv or other device equipped with a tv tuner.

    If you can't do this you'll have to pay for it via part of your subscription fee to a service that carries your local Fox outlet, such as cable, satellite, or a streaming service with local stations.
