Prime App Won't Open on Roku 2

My wife uses a Roku 3 on her TV, and had been for years, but yesterday the Prime app will not open up... it blinks twice than goes back to the main app menu.... other apps seem to work fine; I tried Pluto and Tubi and they opened fine.

The Prime App works fine on my Roku 4, and Roku Express.

The Roku 3 is up to date, I restarted it, and Prime still won't open; I deleted the Prime App, restarted the Roku 3, and re-added the Prime App, but still does not work; just blinks twice and goes back to main app menu.

I also tried the Roku 3 on my TV (disconnected the Roku 4) and it still would not work.

I haven't tried a factory reset yet, but cannot think of anything else to try.

Any ideas ?

    Looks like the factory reset worked... hardest part was getting the remote to pair... luckily I have the Roku 3 manual PDF on my computer... I would have never figured that out
    I will be moving the Roku 3 back to my wife's TV, and hopefully the Prime app will work again !

    We see that the Prime Video app isn’t opening on your Roku 2 device. Thank you for sharing the steps you've already tried. You could try updating the app by highlighting it, pressing the (*) button on your remote, and selecting Check for updates to see any difference.

    Also, if the issue persists, please provide the following details.

    • Roku device infoSoftware versionDevice ID, and Serial Number (found in Settings > System > About).
    • Tracker ID (press Home 5 times, then Back 5 times when the issue occurs)
    • App build version (highlight the app, then press * on your Roku remote.)
