Premium channels not displaying on Roku channel app

I just downloaded the Roku channel app on my fire TV. I took advantage of the recent sale on premium channel subscriptions and signed up for AMC plus through Roku online through their website. I signed into the Roku channel on my fire TV and AMC plus is not showing up and neither are any other possible channels that I could subscribe to. Does anyone know why this might be?

    The Roku Channel is one of the many channels that you can get on a Roku device.  I have a Roku but I never use that one.  Some people assume that TRC is like a virtual Roku device, but it's just a channel with an overlapping name.
