Pluto app fails to load despite up to date

My Pluto app starts to load showing the Pluto logo but then bounces back to the Roku Home screen. After checking the forum for solutions, I made sure that the Roku software is updated, I checked the Pluto app for updates but it says it's up to date.

I tried removing and reinstalled the Pluto app, again ensuring that it was up to date prior to attempting to launch it but still no luck.

Are there any other suggestions? I can use all my other apps so it doesn't seem to be an Internet issue. My other Roku launches Pluto just fine. Please help!

    Make sure you do a system restart, or the simple way is to just unplug the device for 60 seconds after uninstalling.

  • You said you tried removing and reinstalling the app, but did you remove the app, do a system restart or unplug the Roku for 60 seconds and then reinstall?  Sometimes you need to clear the cache by a full system restart or power restart prior to reinstalling.

      Thanks for responding. I did not restart the Roku after deleting the app. I will try that later today. Thanks.
