Plex and Nvidia Shield Pro playback error on Roku

All of a sudden, as of yesterday, many of my movies, personal videos, etc. will not play on Roku using the Nvidia shield as the server. It’s getting a playback error on random media files that I’ve never had a problem with. These issues are not duplicated when I use other clients like iOS, Invidia, and Windows devices. They play just fine when using Nvidia shield as the server. It’s only through Roku. I’m getting these playback errors on certain movies from one 1080p, Blu-ray, and 4K. In addition, some audio files. This is a Roku issue I just started yesterday as far as I can tell. When I use my Windows device as the server, everything is fine through Roku. Everything’s been updated and rebooted. Again this is not every movie nor audio file just random ones, maybe 40%. This is 100% a Roku issue because every other client has no issues.

 

ERROR SAYS:

“playback error. Playback has stopped due to multiple playback errors. Please check your connection and try again.”
