Photo Apps is not available from Australia

Hi.   Trying to set up a screensaver on my Roku Streaming Stick using my own photos.  Have been using PhotoView app for years which links to my Google Photos albums however the app is bow broken due to Roku changes to APIs.  The PhotoView creator doesnt appear to have any time to spend on upgrading the app.

Roku's own Photo Streams is region locked so doesnt work in Australia.  Backdrops app is not shown in my available channels list I assume due to region restrictions too.  Tried a few other apps that dont even launch/function.

Trying to avoid a subscription based app, I"m ok with a small one off payment though.

What are my options?

    Sorry for the confusion, Pil71 

    After further checking with our team, we confirmed that the photo stream and the backdrop are unavailable in Australia due to regional restrictions. 

    We appreciate your interest and will consider this as feedback.

    Appreciate your post! 

    I understand you're having trouble setting up the photostream on your Roku.   

    Please note that both Photo Stream and Backdrops features on Roku are available in Australia. If the photo stream and backdrop aren't available, your Roku account may not be set up for your region. 

    Ensure your Roku account is registered to the correct region to access these apps. Update your Roku account, perform a factory reset, and use a different active email. Follow these steps to reset and activate your Roku device.

      Thanks team however that has not resolved the problem.  See attached.

      Per instructions I have factory reset the Roku streaming stick.  Deleted my Roku account and created a new account using a different email address and added an Australian payment method. Then activated the ROku streaming stick by linking it to my new account (the one I'm making this post from).  Please advise.
