Paramount+ restarts program when hit "fast-forward" and "skip intro."

My 2 1/2 year old Soundbar Pro acts weird when trying to "fast-forward" or use the "skip intro" causes the program to simply restart. To eliminate and diagnose the issue I first checked other channels (various apps) and evitually discovered the issue was only related to the Paramount+ channel. Updated the Paramount+ app and was good. Until the next day the same issue returned with the Paramount+ app. Updated the app again and "fast-forward" and "skip intro" worked correctly. Third night and it happened again, "fast-forward" and "skip intro" restarts the program. Now I'm annoyed but I tried other programs within the Paramount+ channel. And, yes, it happens on the other shows (Star Trek Discovery, Strange New Worlds, NCIS, etc.) 

So, for awhile I just update Paramount+ before I watched any shows. 

The thing is this fact. I have three (3) Roku devices, the other two devices this never happens. The Paramount+ apps functions properly it is only on the Streambar Pro is the only device with this issue. This leads me to think that the issue is a hardware issue?

My Streambar Pro is a model: 9101R2. Running software version: 14.5.

Paramount+ is version:  9.9 build 20250505.

Is there anything I can do about this besides buy a newer model Streambar?
