Paramount Plus keep watching list stopped working again

I have the problem where it won't continue where I left off. It always starts me at season 1 Episode1 even though I've been watching... Example Cheers I'm on Season 7 Episode 16.
1) it doesn't show up on watched list
2) It never take me to the next episode after I turn of the app and come back always takes me to S1 E1 for everything (all my other apps do so it's not Roku)
3) Have to always search for the show when I want to continue.
Beside those things I like Paramount+

    Firstly, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and we'd be more than happy to assist you with this.

    In this case, may we first know if this happens inside the standalone Paramount Plus app? If so, please be aware that they are the ones who maintain their app on the Roku streaming platform so it may be best to directly raise your concern to their customer support so they can update their app. 

    In the meantime, we suggest highlighting the channel tile of the app and then pressing the star (*) button on your remote to update it.

    We hope you get everything sorted out soon and appreciate you bearing with us in the meantime. If there's anything else we can be of assistance with, please let us know as we'd be more than happy to be of help.

    We appreciate you posting here in the Roku Community!

    Have you tried to remove the channel and see if it helps? If you haven't tried it yet, you can remove the affected channel and re-install it. To ensure the process is successful, restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.

    If the issue persists, note that for more information about the channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact the Paramount Plus customer support team to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

      Same issue after I upgraded to the no commercial version. I have logged out, removed the app and restarted then same issue. Last time I spoke to Paramount they were able to resolve that on the web and cell app by deleting the cache on their servers, however still happens on all my Roku devices. I am still trying to contact them as the phone stops after being on hold for 25 minutes typically. Will keep trying I guess.

       

      Anyone figured this out yet and got it fixed? I dont have this when I use my firestick.

  • This may not be a ROKU issue. I have the same problems with continue watching on whichever platform I'm using....the web, iPad, ROKU. I believe this may be an issue with paramount. 

    • SAME!! I've updated the app, cleared cache, cleared roku cache, everything and it still starts me over at Season 1 Episode 1 every time. If I accidentally leave during a show I'm watching it won't save it either. I have to scroll back to it find it in episodes, start it, and fast forward back to where I was. It's a nuisance!! I even added the show to my list, but they still won't show up. Paramount needs to fix something.
