Paramount app disappeared from the channel list

I have a longtime subscription directly with Paramount. I've been able to add the Paramount channel on my Roku devices to view the channel until today. My Paramount channel disappeared from my channel list. When I try to add it back, the only choices require buying a new Paramount subscription through Roku. I have another 7 months paid for already, and I don't want to pay for two subscriptions. Why am I now being forced to subscribe to streaming channels through Roku? I bought Roku streaming devices for all of my TVs. They should stream my paid subscriptions without forcing me to subscribe through Roku. I don't like being bullied and will scrap all of my Roku streaming boxes before getting bullied to subscribe through Roku.

    Welcome to the Roku Community, MTjack!

    It seems like you are having issues with accessing your Paramount Plus subscription. No worries! We'll help you find the best resolution possible. 

    Before we proceed, are you accessing this directly from the standalone app of Paramount Plus? Were you able to see this app on your other Roku devices? Additionally, are you able to search for it under the Streaming Store?

    In the meantime, please try rebooting the affected device by navigating to your Home screen. Scroll up or down to select Settings > System > Power (skip if unavailable) > System restart to see if this makes any difference.

      No he's talking about the paramount CHANNEL.  There was a difference, at least until a few weeks ago.  Paramount channel is now gone and it doesn't seem to be accessible on paramount plus so I'm very confused as well

        I don't work for Roku or Paramount but this sounds like a paramount issue. I didn't think as of writing this message Paramount offered anything but Paramount + and that was the only Paramount offering available to a consumer. You should be able to purchase Paramount + through Paramount + directly through Paramount which is what I do personally as well as through the Roku Channel. I believe you may be able to access Paramount + through some other App but a non Paramount + channel that's just called Paramount might have exsisted but Paramount might have been slowly phasing that service out.

        I could be wrong but those are just some thoughts after ready your message. Best of luck figuring it all out. Tulsa Kings is my Jam at the moment and Yellowstone is right around the corner!

  • More information would help.  Are you trying to use the Paramount+ app? If so, make sure to go down the "Sign in" path, not something labeled "Sign up" or "Get started".  "Sign in" is often in a much smaller font than "sign up" and people miss it.
