That's not the screen reader which only reads text on the screen and has nothing to do with describing the action in a video. While the video is playing, press * on you remote, go to "Accessibility & captions", then "Audio track", then choose the English track not already selected.

I had the same problem regardless what I turned off and the text reader wasn't even for the same episode. I was able to play the episode on my computer yesterday with no issues. However, I see Panhandle is not available today so I cannot finish the series.
