OTA channels and turning Roku off during this viewing to save data on internet.

Unable to turn the Roku off during times I am watching local channels on the OTA .  I am being charged for internet data with Roku running and I am watching local channels.

    I assume you're using a Roku player attached to a TV.  If so, when you are done streaming, press the Home button (upper right) to stop streaming and return to the Roku home screen.
