there is a lock on the password line and cannot scroll to it. so, cannot highlight it?

Hmm... when I tried it I had never been logged in before. There's always the usual remove, restart, reinstall procedure:
- Remove the channel by highlighting it on the Home Screen, pressing * on your remote, and choosing "Remove channel"
- Restart your Roku device from Settings->System or Settings->System->Power (as appropriate) Don't skip this step!
- Once it restarts, add the channel/app again from the Channel Store, Streaming Channels, or whatever they're calling it these days
