NFL App Still Crashing after Start Up

The previously posted NFL App crashing has NOT been fixed. At startup, left side panel appears for a couple of seconds before the Home page reappears. This happens on a Streaming Stick 4k as well as an Ultra. It was working this afternoon. A previous post said that it was fixed but it has not!

    To check if the issue is resolved, we recommend checking for software updates. Here’s how you can do that:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Select System
    3. Choose Software Update
    4. Click Check Now

    If an update is available, please download it, then relaunch the app to see if the issue is fixed.

    Having the same issue I had a few days ago.  I try to launch the NFL app and it starts to load and goes back to the Home Screen.  Why does this keep happening!

      Same thing for me.  It worked fine yesterday. 

      Resets / updates etc .. all that stuff didn't fix it.

        Roku 4k, same issue. NFL app just has a spinning circle, starts to load and displays left frame and then crashes back to Home Screen. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, updated, restarted Roku. Same issue.

      Once again, Roku has failed to fix the problem. Since this seems to be happening over and over again, maybe you're just putting a band aid on a wound and not actually fixing the problem. This issue happens on ever Roku device I have, but not on any other device that I have the NFL app installed on. The issue is obviously on Roku's end and not the NFL. Please stop doing stop gap fixes and find the root of the issue and fix that.

        I agree. It’s very frustrating when you pay for an app and a device and it doesn’t do a simple thing like…actually work.

      What would happen if  everyone stopped their payment to NFL and requested a refund if this isn't fixed in a week or so?

      The NFL app is currently not working for me either on my Roku TV - Wed Nov 27 at 7:11 pm.  Same issue ... Crashes back to home screen a few seconds after the menu starts to appear.

      same experience as others are reporting. was broken last week. worked for a few days. now broken again.

    My NFL app keeps crashing when trying to open the app. I have tried everything including uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times.

      I'm having the same issue. I Clearly shouldn't subscribe to apps through Roku.

    Tried all suggestions. NFL app still crashing back to Home Screen. Using Roku 4k. Help. No issues on phone, or computer.

        I’m having the same problem. I had the same issue with Amazon firestick so I bought a Roku and it was working until today. I did a factory reset and reinstalled the nfl app but it still quits unexpectedly after a few seconds and goes back to Home Screen. Extremely frustrating.

    I have been having the same problem.  I'm not convinced it's a Roku issue because all other apps work fine; it seems like it may be a NFL issue.  I have been going back and forth with NFL and they give me a suite of things to try (e.g., all the usual Roku stuff [e.g., system restart] plus uninstalling/reinstalling NFL, resetting password, etc.) - nothing works.  What's weird, is that out of the blue, NFL will start working for a day, but then the next time you go to watch it, the problem reappears.  I read somewhere within this thread that Roku said it has the problem solved - it's not.  Whether it's Roku or NFL, the problem is definitely not solved.  If anyone has found a solution, please post it.

    Roku app crashes back to the home screen on my Roku player. I've tried several times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the NFL app, I've restarted the Roku unit, and downloaded a fresh version of the NFL app and it always crashes back to the Roku home screen can someone please help me with this it's very frustrating... Thank you 🙂

    The NFL channel is again returning to the home screen when it trys to load. We had this issue on Sunday and it finally resolved and now it is happening again.

      Same here.  It is 8:10 PM Central time (Nov 27th), and it is happening to me.  Done resets and followed advice given on this, but still not loading.  Anyone figure out this yet?

        I’m having the same issue. Other apps/channels work fine but NFL just goes back to the home page.

    Can watch NFL app in my phone but when I try it through Roku on my TV it keeps starting to load and goes back to Home Screen.  Have deleted app and reinstalled it.  No change.  Was working ok last night

      Same here.

      Just subscribed today (November 27). The NFL app opens and then immediately crashes. I removed the app and replaced it. Then restarted the Roku app. Not working.
